We would like to introduce ourselves
to you, and let you know what we are doing to help you, and the
collectable autograph industry. When selling an autograph, it is
hard to prove that your item is real to the buying public,
especially with fake autographs out selling genuine autographs these
days. The problem is people that fake autographs, can easily fake
Certificates of Authenticity, and can even get a picture of
themselves with the star, and use the picture repetitively to
suggest that the autograph is real. This will make an impact on all
Autograph dealers, especially since a seller of fake autographs has
lower costs, and will sell for a lot less than a dealer selling the
genuine article. And when an autograph looks real, and costs less
than anywhere else, the buying public will go for the cheaper with
out knowing any different.
We have set up an online Registration
Database to protect both the dealers of Authentic Autographs, as
well as the buying public.
We currently work with a lot of Sport
stars, and have worked very closely with the England 1966 World cup
team, Frank Bruno, Pele, Sir Henry Cooper, as well as other Sports
and Non-Sport Stars.
How does it all work?
Authenticated Autographs attend both
Private Signings and public signings, so that we witness the
signing, and can register each autograph on the registry database.
The following information
about the autograph is entered onto the database.
·
Registration #
·
Name of Signer
·
Type of item signed
·
Type of writing device
used
·
Where item was signed
·
Date item was signed
·
Picture of autograph
The information is then loaded
online, and the information for your autograph can be retrieved by
entering in the Unique ‘AA’ code for the autograph.
